caiti marlowe was born in boston, massachusetts. soon realizing that snow is actually really depressing when it happens in april, her mother moved the family to sunny south florida. through many trips to new york city in her childhood, caiti vowed to one day live in the city that housed all of her dreams. she is currently a proud astoria, queens resident and thrilled every day she gets to wake up in the greatest city in the world.
caiti’s passion for performing was borne of her desire to be the next big disney channel star. realizing that theatre was probably a more attainable start, caiti auditioned for her first musical at the age of 8, cried through her entire 32 bar cut, still somehow got cast, and hasn’t looked back since.
while performing in local community theatres and attending arts middle and high schools, caiti also began intensive training at the maltz jupiter theatre conservatory of performing arts where she realized the power of art as a tool for healing, self expression, and self actualization.
she then graduated from emerson college in 2018 with a BFA in theatre & performance. in her time at emerson she also began exploring choreography and movement. as a very stubborn “mover only”, this came as a shock to many (herself, included). SHE LOVED IT! dance, choreography, and expression through movement have become some of her greatest joys in life.
when caiti isn’t on stage, she can be found practicing yoga (she is a RYT-250 registered yoga teacher), traveling the world (she’s been to 50 different countries), and scouting out the best coffee shops and brunch spots in whatever area she’s currently visiting (get her a gingerbread latte with almond milk and you’ve won her heart).
